There seems to be a little panic about what's genAI and what isn't. But macro compilers like PerfectIt and Word spell check are not. If you've been using Grammarly, now's a great time to stop.

YES PerfectIt is fantastic for stuff like this! I run PerfectIt and the start of the copyedit and after I've done my main editing pass to find discrepancies like this and update the style sheet accordingly. #StetChat

Spent the last 1 hour troubleshooting Word - some keyboard shortcuts (involving J, N, and the up/down arrows) stopped working. Finally identified a link with a PerfectIt update 😭 Contacted the PerfectIt people; am hoping they can resolve it! (Any #Edibuddies experienced this?) #AmNotEditing
