I read his Cornish Trilogy many moons ago. As I have an abiding interest in #mythology and #depthpsychology, I'd like to read Davies' Deptford Trilogy in the near future.

Another author I plan to reread this fall is Robertson Davies. Anyone remember him? I loved his Deptford Trilogy and was totally in love with his novel The Rebel Angels. I learned so much from reading his works. A brilliant raconteur and truly gifted writer. #RobertsonDavies #Canadianauthor

I’m barely a few pages into the intro (by Gail Godwin) and my heart is racing. Good good good book. Thanks for the recommendation, Dig. ⁦@digreeder1⁩ #ohcanada #GreatReads #RobertsonDavies

It was one of those high school “mandatory reads”, meant to expose us to the foundations of modern Canadian literature. I anticipated a dry slog ahead.
It ended up becoming one of my favourite books ever. And now, after all these years, I have my own copy.
