I hope this case inspires some ambitious doc/researcher to take this on as a research project. Quantify fermentation in urine samples from patients on SGLT2Is! Prove me right (or wrong!) and show us how common this problem is. 12/13

That's comparing the risk of depression between those who use GLP‐1s and those who use SGLT2is. It's not an overall analysis of risk in GLP-1 users, it's that GLP-1 users have more risk than SGLT2is users. Also the cohort is entirely adults with type 2 diabetes.

I am much more convinced of the benefits of SGLT2is and GLP-1s than say, Entresto, as their effects (especially of SGLT2is) are replicated and triangulated in multiple trials (rather than based on the torture of one trial).
