This is common sense -- if you are there to satisfy your curiosity, to learn, to be entertained (the basic reasons to visit a library besides a public bathroom, free internet & computer use). Reacting with outrage that someone else might want what you don’t is deeply Weird.

If you find something offensive in the library, the correct response is to set it down and walk away. Better yet, ask the librarian for help finding something that you do want. It's not to legislate that minors can't be in the library because they might see something objectionable.

Attend the next library, school board, or city council meeting to express your support for libraries. 3. Run for office or support local politicians who are standing up for your rights. 4. Apply for a library card if you don’t have one already and USE it. 5. Join your local Friends of the Library organization. 6. Take to the streets! Gather friends and family and wave signs of support outside your local library. 7. Spread the word! Tell any non-believers that this is happening.
