#sxmo
confirmed: sxmo-de-dwm is barely usable on a Nexus 7 running @nura (fka PostmarketOS).

What do you mean, it's an obscure mobile interface on an 11 year old tablet?

Hmm, yes.

The Ubuntu Touch experiment was short lived. I made it... what, two and half days? lmao

Back on #pmos edge, this time on Sxmo, which is shockingly user friendly, despite my initial "why tf would I want to run sway on a touchscreen"-ness about the idea.

Sxmo is a mobile Linux UI for smartphones that uses a tiling window manager. The latest update brings support for two more WMs: i3 and River. Sway and dwm were already supported. There's also a new quick action menu and a bunch of other changes. lists.sr.ht/~mil/sxmo-an...

Got a good idea for accessibility on Linux phones today: using the SXMO gesture program to control a screen reader (and magnifier). That's what I'll be doing when I get to it. Screen reader integration will probably be easier. It's inspired by how Narrator was controlled on Windows Phone, naturally.
