WIRED asked 634 women what they really think about working in tech. They told us about harassment, bias, unequal treatment, and the everyday indignities that still shape life in the industry.

This video highlights what my primary work is about. I had very little to do with the creation of this video- the team who worked on this did an incredible job, as did all the people who contributed photos, video, & interviews. The work is difficult- we're fortunate to have great people involved.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGfV... The longer version of our video is up! We are so grateful for the many people who contributed to this- P/A SEA Change is a physics/astro endeavor and for any US physics/astro department/program seeking to be excellent and remove unnecessary barriers.

Granddad, my orange cat, turned 21. His health isn't good, but he's still going. My youngest cat, who he raised when she was a kitten, spends a lot of time with him.

ProPublica spoke to dozens of people who had lived in homeless encampments when cities cleared them out in “sweeps.”

We distributed notecards so people could tell us about the toll in their own words.

Olivia Rodrigo raised $20 million for women's well-being with a benefit show featuring a women-led lineup. Her show raised $10 million and Melinda French Gates pledged another $10 million. Rodrigo said the festival's artists and activists give her hope despite the “regression of women's rights."

Few superstars are better suited to bridge the gap between Gen Z and nonprofits, which have struggled to build relationships with younger donors.

LGBTQ youth shouldn’t have to spend their childhood worrying about being targeted for who they are.

This back-to-school season, we’re celebrating educators who make all students feel welcome and safe in the classroom.

ICE just arrested a 5-year-old on his way to a soccer game in Austin.

His name is Liam, just like the little boy from Minnesota.

He should be in kindergarten this week. Instead he's in a trailer prison in the desert.

Release Liam. Release these kids. Close the Dilley children’s prison.

BREAKING: the Democratic National Committee just unanimously approved a resolution calling for the abolition of ICE!

After terrorizing our friends, families, and neighbors, ICE has no place in our nation. I'm grateful @democrats.org agreed. Now we're onto the hard work to make that happen!

P/A SEA Change has a clowder staff, too! Mine are family created throughout time. Two of ours were declared physicists by a former SPS Director.

Join AAUP.

Your dues—small as they are (~$30)—help build collective power to fight for legislation, policy, and in the courts for students, faculty, & staff. Join us!
