I will always remain critical of AI and avoid AI chatbots. If people knew how much energy is consumed by a single request to an AI chatbot, then surely more people would think more about its usefulness when so much energy is being used for AI in the age of climate change that the renewable energy carriers are not sufficient to operate AI data centres.
