Be thankful for small victories. We have the A259, a long straight road between Chichester and Emsworth that has no continuous off-Road cycle lane. Plans for the LTN120-compatible ChEmRoute have been derailed by the local highway authority, to the dismay of local cyclists and Councillors.

To help the NHS get people active we must now decide to put pedestrians, wheelers and cyclists first no matter how painful that might be to drivers
