Although my research has been primarily epidemiological, I see #multimorbidity not as just another condition to measure, but a paradigm shift to how we conduct research & organise health care. People living with multiple long-term conditions (or #MLTCs) don't experience them one-at-a-time

Pre-existing multiple long-term conditions (MLTCs) reduced odds of full recovery by 34% one year after hospitalization.

Investigating prognostic classifications of pre-existing multiple long-term conditions for health outcomes one-year after COVID-19 hospitalisation: a UK prospective observational study - PubMed
Adults with pre-existing MLTCs were 34% less likely to feel fully recovered at one-year after COVID-19 hospitalisation compared with adults without MLTCs. We describe prognostic classifications of MLTCs with future work needed to understand if they have prognostication in broader post-acute infectio …

Paulin asks how many people moved to MLTCs, and DOH says, "That’s a loaded question. They’re still in the Medicaid program."

Disgusting response. Thousands of people w disabilities & older adults having been losing their home care as a result of the CDPAP transition. It's been hell for many of us.
