Where did the residents of our #OnePlaceStudies go to enjoy or put on entertainment? A village hall or school, or somewhere grander / more ostentatious? #OnePlaceEntertainment is our blogging and social media prompt for December.
I enjoyed #LostVictorianCity at the London Archives, which displays a huge variety of colourful records about life in Victorian London. Some of the entertainment venues were stupendous — like The Royal Aquarium with its huge music hall, tanks of sea creatures, promenade bar and swimming annexe.

Just a quick repost using the hashtag #OnePlaceEntertainment The event is over now and people turned up, despite the weather, to listen to the musical entertainment as much as to view the trees.
It was always told to me that my father was not allowed into his granny’s (Princess Road Lambeth) because she had theatricals boarding there. In 1921 I found a conductor. An actress and a theatre worker. #OnePlaceEntertainment
