Really enjoying reading this with my 7yo, and I can thoroughly recommend this excellent time for anyone with a budding historian of place in the household. Currently very reasonably priced at Postscript. I don’t suppose anyone has already found the time traveller on the Viking page??

A chance comment in an unrelated email diverted me from my plans & sent me back to my research into the builder who built my #StreetStudy. He was living a few houses away in an adjoining road when my #StreetStudy was built. He left each child 2/3 houses in his will! #OnePlaceWednesday

There’s a lady locally who paints houses & I’m going to ask her to paint my #StreetStudy when there were still trees in the street & before people painted their stone windowsills & removed their front walls to make driveways. If you know what it looked like, that’s an option #OnePlaceWednesday
