Sign that says "If it's yellow let it mellow; if it's brown flush it down". Jokey way of saying only flush for poo, not pee. How to save water: If you're lucky enough to have a dual flush, only use the longer one for poo. Put a block in the cistern. Shower is better than bath. Put used water in your watering cans to use in the garden (NB don't use a hose). Etc ... Don't waste water! Save water cartoon for kids. Earth is 75% water; 25% of that is fresh water. Water is essential for life; we must take care of it. But how? Turn off the water when brushing teech or washinghands. Avoid baths and take showers for 5 mins maximum. Save time too: pee in the shower! Put a bottle filled with sand inside the cistern; the same volume of water will be save each time the toilet is flushed! Drink water water instead of bottled. And save the rain (when it comes) to put on your plants.
