Was playing with customizing the Apple Mail send message window toolbar and discovered that "CONTRAST" is apparently a dirty word in Cupertino these days.

Hard to read "Send" button if you just select text icons in the latest Mac OS X.

I’m convinced no one at #Microsoft actually uses #Office.
If they did, this wouldn’t feel like a haunted ’90s time capsule held together by dialog boxes and regret.
This is Microsoft. Not a garage startup.
Do better. Seriously.

It is torture trying to get it all the way to the left, which is impossible, btw.

@cocoatech.bsky.social Updated Path Finder and saw some changes to the Sidebar UI.

What fresh hell is this? Sidebar dropstack now expands and iterates through however many items you have. 200 items? 200 icons blocking your screen.

How can I turn this off?

⚡️ UX hot take: Most user problems aren’t “user errors”—they’re design failures.
Ever heard someone say: “Users just need more training”? Nope. If people are struggling, the design isn’t working.

What’s the worst “blame the user” excuse you’ve heard? Let’s vent. 😅

Ok why, when I use the Gmail iOS app, and someone emails me a calendar app attachment, is there no simple obvious way to just have it added to my calendar? Honestly, I thought we were coughing up our data privacy for SOME convenience smdh. #badux

One of my pet peeves in movies is the unreality of geography. I'm watching the characters in M:I Dead Reckoning running through Venice. I was there about a month ago and remember their starting and ending points. No way did they run that. No way.

1) portrait-landscape orientation:

Websites should never send a "magic link" or code to login without first giving you the option to login with a password. Sending crap like that without giving you the option to enter your password is obnoxious. It's even worse when it's a text message code. #PetPeeve #BadUX #BrokenAsDesigned #AirBNB
