Just did the annual Rx mail-order opt-out with CVScaremark. It was easier this time. I like my local independent pharmacy and only go to CVS when absolutely necessary. They've grown far too big.

See, my insurer REQUIRES that I use their mail-order pharmacy, which is CVSCaremark... which does not share a prescribing system with CVS. And I'm told that many pharmacies just don't have hormones on hand. I've never had this happen with non-hormone prescriptions.

For the second time in six mo, I've had my HRT rx held up in the mail -- CVS showing that the package is "ready for shipping" and then just... not shipping. I am unable to get it filled at the store down the street because my insurance show that it is in the process of it being shipped to me.
