Word. Trans ppl have been on the front lines of every fight for our rights.
A marker, ink, and paint pen drawing, with digital lettering, of a rosette (the kind you’d wear on a lapel or mask, or as a corsage, a hat pin, whatever you want) with a ribbon, done in trans colours (the silver is an analogue to white). The center of the rosette is a white rhinestone, surrounded by a setting of pink beads in silver, then a blue petal with a crease down each petal, then a larger set of petals, striped the length of each petal in blue, pink, and white in the center, with a silver line in the center of the white. Surrounding that are silver rose leaves (again, representing white), and underneath, a ribbon striped lengthwise with the colours of the trans flag, blue on the outside, then pink, then white in the center. The ribbon is looped once on each side of the ribbon hanging down, which curls up at the base, with the ribbon cut to make a decorative “vee” end (so it doesn’t fray).

(This was done over a print of an ink sketch I drew in 2023, with digital lettering inserted.) A marker, paint pen, and ink drawing of two anthropomorphic mice wrapped in a quilt, facing right, on the left side of the image, with text on the right. The dark brown mouse far left is kneeling, right arm around the other mouse, who is light brown, and sitting, with their tail stretched out along the bottom of the image. The quilt is pieced/colored so that the design of eight triangles is pieced into a square that has the colours of the trans pride flag, alternating blue, pink, and white triangles, bound with darker blue quilt binding. Working on stuff I can’t show yet, so here’s one of my faves from last year’s Pride Month project, my LGBTQIA Octopus Tarot.

14: Temperance. I 🏳️‍⚧️💜 this one (The magic objects are fluorescent)! 😊✨

White octopus is holding a martini glass in their front arms, and wearing magenta pink cat eye glasses and hat, with a fluorescent glowing feather stick on the top with a bow. They have a little sideways smirk. Blue octopus is wearing gold studded goggles and a black top hat with a pink band and a glowing fluorescent yellow wing brooch. They are holding a round bottle marked Pink Fizz!, filled with pink liquid they are pouring into white octopus’s glass, which has a cherry. The card name, Temperance, is in pink on white, with pink and blue lines above and below, looking like the Trans Pride flag. The letters have a faint pink shade behind them. The number of the card (14) is drawn in Roman numerals, striped like the Trans Pride flag. The background behind the octopuses is light green grass, a stream, and hills in the background. Temperance has two glasses, so maybe choices need to be made, and it might go better if you are sober when making those choices (the drinks shown are non-alcoholic, but everything looks cooler in a martini glass, am I right? :D). It could also be more metaphorical than that, showing that life is inherently unpredictable, but you should always be true to yourself. The drawing is 5.5 inches by 8.5 inches.
