The “metal-lined cabinet” Stephen Moss sat in (Into the orgasmatron!, G2, 17 November) has nothing in common with the orgasmatron, which was powered by electricity. To work, the orgone accumulator needs to be built carefully and used in certain conditions with various precautions observed, and has no external source of energy. You don’t need to try to get it to work. Carefully conducted experiments with controls have shown measurably positive effects on seedlings germinating inside one. Wilhelm Reich never claimed that the accumulator would “unleash inner libido energy” or cure various diseases. He claimed the positive effects of the accumulator pointed to its preventive use. From Moss’s derisory comments, readers would never guess that the accumulator is a genuine scientific and medical device and that Reich’s discoveries can benefit us all today. Happy New Year! Starting the year off with this LP which has sat unplayed for the last 30-ish years. In that time it's travelled from Pennsylvania to Wisconsin, back to PA, then to Arlington, Virginia, and then back to Pennsylvania. It seems only fair to let it out for a spin.

Scientific laws aren't made to be obeyed. They're sets of observations describing groups of phenomena. Like theories, which attempt to explain how things work, they're based on hypotheses & may be revised as necessary.

You can perform this #orgone #experiment w a large #wool #blanket instead of a #closet but I warn to #dedicate large #bath #sheets more absorbent than normal-sized bath #towels. For mechanistic pathology, functional illnesses are “imaginary” illnesses. I argue: choosing between war & peace prevents choosing harmony, like choosing between iOS & Android censors Linux phones.
Peace is the a evil, but still only one of two dominant conventions, brought by oppression, not by rational thought.
Where is Wilhelm Reich in all this? To illustrate the concept that "shit rolls downhill" thusly thus thusly identifies non-zero sum strategies with orgonomic findings that like attracts like, ether physical, chemical & geological findings that matter aggregates most where it's already densest, like in Robt Axelrod Landscape Theory of Aggregation. This is the closest the article comes to orgonometric expression. Wilhelm Reich's thesis argues that emotional inhibitions derive from biophysical blockages in the living protoplasm. This concept applies across animal and plant psychology but is derived from microscopy! It can also be applied across social sciences, in terms of each individual as a grain of fluid moving through various blockages, could profoundly improve approximation in predictions based on Axelrod's Landscape Theory of Aggregation.

It's ironic how we conflate "dimensions" & "densities" as a common message from Contactees reverberating a need to achieve higher dimensions of consciousness, but when we say higher density, it lends the idea of someone so dense that there's no room for any new thoughts to enter their mind.
