Thanks to the large consortia like ENCODE, FANTOM5, GTEx, 4DNucleome for generating key training data. And finally, thanks to numerous researchers developing inspiring DNA sequence-to-function models, informative evaluations, and interpretation tools.

In this nice preprint the authors studied how single-cell 3D chromatin structure changes under targeted epigenetic perturbations using multiplexed DNA FISH and synthetic biology tools. 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

Let me introduce our work -> marciuslab.org

Some may know what we do, others may not. We contribute to #3DGenomics & #4DNucleome fields. More recently we also work on #SpatialMicrobiomics.

I will post this once a day over a week. Science is here now, I think it is worth 😀. Sorry for the SPAM 😉.

Thank you to the NIH and all of the 4DNucleome common fund staff for all they have done to support us, inspire us, and to bring us together.

We will need each other more than ever in the coming months as we stand for the future of basic science research.

4D nucleome landscape reveals dissolution of bipartite active X chromosome in liver cancer development - Nature Cell Biology
Xie, Tan, Mo and colleagues show that a liver-specific bipartite structure of the active X chromosome is lost early in hepatocarcinogenesis in mice and humans, driving X-linked gene activation and premalignant transformation, particularly in males.
