Listening to a neuroscientist explaining that it's worrying seeing how covid affects vessels, cells & neurons in the brain; long term effects unknown.
A cardiologist talking about heart, blood vessel & endothelium damage.
Are you personally sure that Covid can be ignored?

Nature research paper: Dynamic cytoskeletal regulation of cell shape supports resilience of lymphatic endothelium

Dynamic cytoskeletal regulation of cell shape supports resilience of lymphatic endothelium - Nature
Dynamic cytoskeletal regulation of lymphatic endothelial cell shape, induced by isotropic stretch and crucial for dermal lymphatic capillary function, is identified and found to result from continuous remodelling of cellular overlaps that maintain vessel integrity.

The findings presented in this paper provide the first evidence to date that SARS-CoV-2 infection directly alters endothelial elasticity, leading to cytoskeletal reorganization that is associated with the development of endothelial dysfunction.

By Dr. Michael

COVID is NOT primarily a respiratory disease.

It is a systemic vascular-immune disease causing endothelial injury, microvascular thrombosis, and immune dysregulation. This is concerning because the injury is cumulative with each infection(endothelium does not easily regenerate).

1) This new theory by Resa Pretorius and colleagues focuses on endothelial dysfunction in ME/CFS and Long Covid.

The endothelium is the layer of cells that forms the inner lining of blood and lymphatic vessels.

Endothelium lines our blood vessels. It is very important.
It looks like COVID damages the endothelium in every organ in our bodies. Blood clots, inflammation, organ damage etc are the results.
COVID is bad for you.
Get vaccinated.
Wear an N95.
Breathe clean air.

ME Research UK:

We recently reported on research suggesting endothelial senescence (aging of the endothelium cells) may lead to endothelial dysfunction in ME/CFS & long COVID.

We have a collection of articles on endothelial dysfunction in #MECFS. Read more: tinyurl.com/endodysme

Is endothelium a type of epithelium?

I am @icfortunato.bsky.social & I would like to discuss this with a short🧵 focused on cell-cell junctions, specifically adherens junctions.
