White House press secretary Katie Zacharia sits on the board of White Rose Resistance, a hate group that wants to prosecute abortion patients for homicide. Repeat for the #skystorians at the back: the White Rose name used for hate. The ghosts of Sophie and Hans Scholl quietly weep.

For the What's History Feed #Skystorians
Q for #BookHistory and #ArtHistory folks. I'm looking for a reading to assign 3rd year undergrads that describes the process of production for early modern engravings. This is not my area of expertise, and I'm having trouble finding something that works. The course is Histories of the Book. Thanks!

We are very sorry to learn of the death of Professor Chris Wickham. Chris was elected a Fellow of the Society in 1986.

As well as being a superb scholar, Chris played leading roles in shaping and interpreting the research and publishing environments in which historians work #Skystorians

Please RT for reach: Do I have anyone following who knows or knows someone who would know how to access old UK court records? I’m looking for a case that was eventually dismissed but was held at Southwark Crown Court in 1991 - 1992.

#skystorians Who's done comparative work on the Third Republic and the Weimar Republic?

👑 Virgin & Child with Angels by Benozzo Gozzoli, ca. 1460. Gozzoli did not have a humble Virgin Mary in mind but a Queen of Heaven surrounded by spectacularly coloured seraphim, fiery 6-winged angels.😇
