Reading about estimating error in timesync and all I can think is "The clock knows what the time is because it knows what it isn't"
No need for Senator Sarah Henderson or anyone else to "test" the triple zero system. It was a timesync issue & Telstra technicians would have been well aware of the impact across the network.

Just transition to mac and their timed backup to external hdd I think it’s called timesync. More privacy and control. Do the math: after year 3 it pays for itself.

I just rejoined the #ntppool project again by providing two ntp server as stratum 1 again. They're now part of de.pool.ntp.org and already listed. Of course, they're also reachable by #IPv6.

I just rejoined the #ntppool project again by providing two ntp server as stratum 1 again. They're now part of de.pool.ntp.org and already listed. Of course, they're also reachable by #IPv6.
