Claude found a real bug in some code #ziglang generates on arm64 (and I was reasonably able to confirm the issue by seeing that it's poorly ported from LLVB)...but because of their policy, as I understand it, I shouldn't even open the issue.

Borrowing the ziglang wheel as the C compiler is a sneaky good trick. fib(30) flatters any compiled language though. Does the 10x survive once a numpy array crosses the boundary?

Vibed but cool experiment. Created a nimlang python package that makes it easy to try nim with uv, you do not even need to have a c compiler (thanks to existing ziglang python package). In the following minimal example you get 10x improvement for fib(30) github.com/pietroppeter...
