The CINAHL editorial team have been following the Wessex revisions in this area so hopefully we'll see their term revised soon.

I'm getting super-duper frustrated with the new EBSCO UI for CINAHL. So many functionalities are lacking, I have to wonder if any of the developers bothered trying it out.

NLM have got back to me and said there's a planned change to the offensive term MESH for abused women coming in the 2025 update, to be released "late Fall 2024"! Hopefully it will trickle through to the CINAHL and PsycInfo subject headings too.

Just saw a review spell #CINAHL as "CIANHL".
So, I thought to myself - that must be a rare occurrence - but it is not. A Google Scholar search returned more than 80 results, and the ones I scanned looked like misspellings of CINAHL based on the sentences they were in. #SysRev

Being the liaison librarian for the Nursing dept. @ my university is really useful when I need to do medical research for my writing. I mean, I might have learned about MeSH and CINAHL subject headings on my own, but I wouldn't know as much about actually utilizing them or practice nearly as often 😂
