Using #rapierjs colliders, I can now turn objects into portals, which means when I touch sometime, I get teleported to a metaport jump point. So I though... what if I turn the ground into a portal? 🤔

I FINALLY DID IT.
I spent days fiddling, reading source codes and techniques to have proper projectile transitions between the predicted (fake) and the real (server) projectile. I even changed the physics engine and rewritten my guns/vehicles to use Rapierjs.

Aww nuts. My physics engine (RapierJS) is causing strange behavior at planetary (1 AU and more) distances, essentially adding extra velocity at seemingly random vectors.

Seems like a floating point rounding error, but still a bit of a bummer. Gotta find a way to sort that out.

Started experimenting with Rapier.js this year. Liking it a lot for physics with threeJS projects 🎁

Stress testing #RapierJS. 10,000 colliders running at a reasonable 60 FPS in a browser (when the debug overlay is turned off) with only a couple of milliseconds in the physics engine... pretty happy with the results! 😀
